A brachioplasty is planned closely around your arm shape and the outcome you are hoping for, and at consultation we will discuss the incision placement and what to expect from your scar, which sits along the inner arm where it is least visible. You will be given clear guidance on rest, wound care and gently rebuilding activity in the weeks after surgery, and I will see you regularly as you heal. As swelling settles, the smoother, firmer contour of your arms becomes more apparent.
What to expect
3 Hours
A more refined upper arm, with excess skin removed and a firmer, smoother contour. Your final result becomes clearer over the following months as swelling subsides.
There is minimal downtime required for this procedure, you can return to light exercise within a few days. Heavier upper-body activity and lifting should be avoided for around six weeks, and I will confirm your individual recovery plan at consultation.
General Anaesthetic.
Excess fat and skin are permanently removed. However, results can be impacted by changes in weight, exercise, ageing and pregnancy.
