Whether you are choosing to remove your implants, exchange them for a different size or type, or address changes that have occurred over time, this is a decision we will talk through carefully together. I will assess your existing implants and breast tissue and explain the options available, including whether a breast lift would help you achieve the shape you want. Wherever possible I work through your original incision to minimise additional scarring, and you will be given clear guidance on recovery and follow-up.
What to expect

Reduced breast volume or enhanced breast shape, depending on whether implants are removed or exchanged. Your breasts will settle into their final shape over the first few months.
Vigorous exercise should be avoided for six weeks post surgery. Most patients return to light daily activities within one to two weeks, and I will advise you on supportive garments during the early healing period.
General Anaesthetic.
Breast implants may need to be replaced over the course of your lifetime. If your implants are removed without replacement, the result is permanent, although your breasts will continue to change naturally with age, weight and pregnancy.
