Lower blepharoplasty is a precise, delicate procedure, and at consultation we will discuss which technique is most suitable for your concerns and whether local or general anaesthetic is best for you. Incisions are placed just beneath the lash line or inside the eyelid, so any scarring is very well hidden. Bruising and swelling in the first week or two are a normal part of healing and I will provide clear aftercare guidance to help you feel confident during recovery.
What to expect
90 Minutes
Become more apparent as the swelling subsides post-op, revealing a rejuvenated eye area, with a smoother, less tired appearance to the lower lids.
Recovery time varies, but most people can resume normal activities within a week or two. Strenuous exercise and bending should be avoided until swelling has settled and I will advise you on resuming make-up and contact lenses.
Local or General Anaesthetic.
While creating a more rejuvenated, youthful appearance to the lower eyelid area, this area will continue to age with time. Results are typically long lasting.
