Some swelling and tenderness in the first week or two is normal and eases steadily, and I will give you clear, practical advice on hygiene, comfort and returning to your usual activities.
What to expect

The aim of surgery is to address any discomfort or aesthetic concerns, achieving a natural, balanced appearance and improved comfort. Initial swelling settles over the first few weeks, with the final result visible within a few months.
Vigorous exercise should be avoided for four to six weeks post surgery. Most patients feel comfortable returning to work within a week. I will advise you on when it is appropriate to resume intimacy and other activities.
Local or General Anaesthetic.
Long term results can be influenced by fluctuation in weight, exercise, ageing and pregnancy. For most patients, the results are long lasting.
