Breast augmentation is a highly personal decision, and your consultation is an opportunity to talk openly about the size, shape and type of enhancement you are hoping for, whether with implants, fat transfer or a combination of the two. I will explain the options honestly, including where incisions are placed and how implants are positioned, so you can make a fully informed choice. After surgery, you will be supported with clear guidance on your support garment, activity and follow-up as your breasts settle into their final shape.
What to expect
2 Hours
Greater breast volume and enhanced breast shape. Implants settle into a softer, more natural position over the first few months as swelling subsides.
Vigorous exercise should be avoided for six weeks post surgery; two weeks post injections. Most patients are back to light daily activities and desk-based work within one to two weeks and I will advise you on wearing a supportive bra during the early healing period.
General Anaesthetic.
Implants may need replacing over the course of your lifetime. They are not designed to be lifelong devices and I will discuss long-term care and monitoring with you. Fat transfer results are long lasting, though some of the transferred fat is naturally reabsorbed in the early months.
